Privacy Policy — Cycly

Cycly ("the app", "we", "us") is a menstrual cycle tracker built to be private by design. This policy explains, in plain language, how Cycly handles your information. The short version: Cycly does not collect your data. Everything stays on your device.

1. No account, no cloud

Cycly works 100% offline. You do not create an account, and you do not sign in. We do not operate servers that store your personal information.

2. What data Cycly stores (and where)

Everything you enter — period dates, flow, symptoms, mood, notes, and app settings — is stored only on your device, in a local database. This information:

Never leaves your device through Cycly;
Is not transmitted to us or to any third party;
Is not used for advertising and is never sold.

3. Data we collect

None. Cycly does not collect, transmit, or have access to your personal or health data. We do not use analytics or tracking SDKs. Our App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected."

4. Third parties

Apple (in-app purchases): If you buy Cycly Premium, the purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles the payment under Apple's Privacy Policy. Cycly only receives confirmation that the purchase succeeded — never your payment details.
We do not integrate any other third-party services, ad networks, or analytics.

5. Notifications

If you enable reminders, notifications are scheduled locally on your device. No reminder content is sent to us or to any server.

6. Your control over your data

Because your data lives only on your device, you are in full control:

Export your data at any time (CSV) from Settings.
Delete all your data at any time from Settings → "Delete all data".
Deleting the app from your device permanently removes its local database.

7. Children

Cycly is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.

8. Security

Your data is protected by your device's own security (passcode, Face ID/Touch ID, and iOS app sandboxing). Because nothing is transmitted, there is no server-side data to breach.

9. Medical disclaimer

Cycly is a tracking and educational tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice or diagnosis. Predictions are estimates. Consult a healthcare professional for medical concerns.

10. Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected in the app or on this page.
